The history of Mezellini brand begins in 2005, when the company "Aviselect" SRL purchased a plant for processing meat products in the village of Bulboaca.

The birth of the brand dates back to 2006. In the evolution of these 11 years of activity, the company has launched on the market the brands Mezellini (premium segment), Zi de Zi (medium segment), Classic (economy segment) and recently, at the end of 2016, launched the brand Delicarne (super premium segment), which is characterized by the presence of raw cured meats SKU "a la Italy" in order to offer the Moldovan consumer European quality products at affordable prices.

The company employs about 300 people. The company's organisational structure comprises 6 departments (development, production, finance, commercial, administrative and technical) and 18 departments with clear directions and well-defined goals.

The brand name has double meaning: ‘mezel’ means ‘sausages/bratwursts’, while ‘lini’ means the experience of Italian technologists, who helped to create and then extend the range of products. Thus, Mezzellini became a name with full meaning, namely due to its quality products, which were inspired by traditional recipes as combined with European technologies, particularly, Italian ones.

"Mezellini is one of the leading meat and sausage producers in the Republic of Moldova and a member of the Meat Processing Industry Employers' Association. From the very beginning it has surprised with the quality of its products, the continuous implementation of state-of-the-art technologies, and the gradual expansion of its production capacity and product portfolio in line with market requirements.

The factory has an estimated productivity of 1500 tons of finished products per month, and today it processes about 4000 tons of meat annually, of which 70% is the local raw material. The company's development directions are: fresh meat, production of cured meats, meat semi-prepared products, including meat sticks, meat preserves, tomato sauces and mayonnaise.

The mission of the Mezellini is to achieve excellence in the production of a wide range of impeccable quality meat delicacies, which are the trademark and part of the great Moldavian food and wine traditions.

For the near future it is planned to expand the "Mezellini" plant, increase the production range and conquer new markets.
